About DCH Coaching
#LACE UP - TURN UP
Just one man trying to make a positive change. Looking to help people make big and small changes to their own lives via running and fitness.
My mission is to offer support and motivate people into working towards their own personal targets. Whether you are looking at starting your own journey and you're not sure where to begin or maybe a more experienced runner looking to perform at the next level, my tailor-made programs can set you off in the right direction.
From the road to the trails, 5km to ultras and whether you are a newbie or a more experienced runner all coaching will be individualised to you the athlete.
Running can play such a big part in helping people become not just physically fit BUT mentally healthy as well. I can either help you start on the right track as you begin your running journey, or I can also help those that have hit a wall with their training and are looking for some expert structure and support to be applied to their plan.
Through 1-2-1 and online coaching I can help run down those running milestones that have evaded you for some time.

I'm Darren, I'm a running and fitness coach in the Lake District and I have over 12 years work experience in the health and fitness industry.
Previously the Health & Wellness manager of a local 5*Spa in the Lake District and at the New Balance Outlet in Keswick where I set up a very successful running club. NOW im still working in retail at Kong Adventure and still love meeting people and hearing about everyones running experiences. I'm also still Coach with the run club which is now under my full supervision, DCH Coaching - RUN CLUB.
My aim is simple - to help educate you and give you the tools for you that will set you on your way to achieving your goals.
I'm a running addict and have completed 7 ultra-marathons including the Lakeland 50, I've also completed a number of marathons (with Windermere being my favourite) and a few half marathons. I don't just run either I love my strength and conditioning workouts, throwing a kettlebell and sandbag about (so much fun), I also love getting out on my road bike. I love to take photos, I'm no proffessional but wherever my feet or wheels take me I like to capture the moment........
