MONDAY training sessions are geared toward speed.
Every runner can benefit from speed work. In fact, speed work should still be a part of a well-rounded training program, even if running faster is not one of your goals! Speed work should always be performed relative to your current running fitness level. Running the correct pace and nothing faster or slower.
Don't get tied up on what everyone else is running. Effort is what your body knows, not what someone else is running!!
Wednesday sessions -
Over the summer period will be aimed at heading off-road and on to the trails, some sessions may be switched around for a workout depending on the weather.
