DCH RUN CLUB

DCH RUN CLUB is a coached program totally suitable for both beginners and experienced athletes. Training with DCH you will get faster, stronger and learn correct training techniques. All paces/speeds will be looked after all you need you to do is ‘lace up turn up’.

 

Newbie athletes are just asked to be able to run continuously for 10 minutes before joining the group. If you are not quite there yet then please email and I’ll help you get you off on the right track.

 

Under -18s are asked to be supervised by a responsible adult throughout the session.

January 2020 Club Fees:

£3.00 per session (under 18s free)

£37.50 block of 15 sessions (6 month expiry)

£60.00 block of 30 sessions (6 month expiry)

RUN CLUB COACHED SESSIONS ARE ON MONDAY & WEDNESDAY EVENINGS AT 18:30 STARTING FROM KONG RUNNING STORE.

 

What does a typical club session look like?

  • We always start at Kong running, checking in with the coach, and then head out for an easy run to the location of the workout.

  • The coach will then lead the athletes through a warm-up and drills.

  • Runners are then divided into the appropriate pace groups for the main workout which are often 200m – 1000m intervals.

  • Post-workout the coach will lead the athletes through 10 minutes of strength-focused exercises.

  • Once all done, an easy run back to the store followed by some stretching

  • The sessions maybe at least 75 minutes.
